Whatsapp New Features | Whatsapp Communities & Message Yourself
WhatsApp is a free, multiplatform
messaging app that lets you make
video and voice calls, send text messages, and more, all with just a
Wi-Fi connection. With over 2 billion active users, WhatsApp is especially
popular among friends and family who live in different countries and want to stay
in touch.
Here are two major new features which
are introduced by WhatsApp.

Notes to self: WhatsApp's new feature allows users to send
messages to themselves
The ‘Message Yourself’ feature
allows Android and iOS users to send notes, messages, reminders, documents, web
links, and more to their accounts
WhatsApp has started rolling
out a feature to let you chat with yourself. Sending messages to your own
account can be a way to keep a piece of information easily accessible, right
next to your other WhatsApp conversations.
“Message Yourself” feature allows
users to send notes, messages, reminders, documents, web links, and more to
their accounts. The chat will only be visible and accessible to the user.
“Message Yourself” will come in
handy when you want to save important notes, links, and more.
WhatsApp Communities
WhatsApp launched the Communities
feature on 3 November. In a blog post, the company said that the “major update”
is being rolled out globally and will be available to all users in the next few
months.
WhatsApp launched the Communities
feature on 3 November. In a blog post, the company said that the “major update”
is being rolled out globally and will be available to all users in the next few
months.
“Communities like neighborhoods,
parents at a school, and workplaces can now connect multiple groups together
under one umbrella to organize group conversations on WhatsApp,” the company
said.
Being in a Community will allow
the user to get information from various groups in the community and receive
updates from other members within the community — all of whom share a common
interest.
